What battery cycle count means

Battery cycle count is a wear indicator. One cycle roughly means the battery has discharged and recharged by a full battery equivalent, even if that happens across several smaller top-ups.

A lower count usually means less wear, but battery health percentage, age, heat exposure, and charging habits all matter too.
